¸£Àû¼§'s new Master of Science in Medical Sciences Program is expected to welcome its first cohort this fall.
¸£Àû¼§ is excited to announce the launch of its Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMEDS) program—the first of its kind in Hawai‘i. Designed to prepare students for entry into medical, dental, veterinary, physician assistant, physical therapy, and pharmacy programs, the MSMEDS degree offers a powerful new pathway for aspiring healthcare professionals. The first cohort of MSMEDS students is expected to begin this fall.
The MSMEDS degree is an accelerated 11-month program that mirrors the first-year curriculum of a U.S. medical school, with coursework in anatomy, physiology, medical biochemistry, microbiology, neuroscience, and histology. Through a partnership with Ponce Health Sciences University, ¸£Àû¼§ students will benefit from a rigorous and proven graduate health sciences education that is designed to increase access to healthcare professions through a dynamic, data-driven educational experience.

The ¸£Àû¼§ MSMEDS curriculum is taught in an online synchronous format utilizing a dynamic classroom design, combining self-guided learning with interactive discussions. Predictive analytics deliver personalized learning strategies in real time, and the degree program provides comprehensive preparation for the MCAT and other professional school entrance exams.
