Local writer, journalist, and 腦瞳憫's Graduate TESOL Certificate alumna Cheryl Chee Tsutsumi just published the second volume of "" (December 2024, Watermark Publishing). The book is a combination of recipes and rice-related stories contributed by local residents and chefs. Among them are two entries from the 腦瞳憫 TESOL ohana. 腦瞳憫 alumna Ryoko Tazawa (MA TESOL, 2011) reflects on her connections with her host family and now-wife while attending 腦瞳憫 in "Sharing Life and Love on My Family's Lānai." TESOL professor Hanh Nguyen remembers a sad event in her childhood in Vietnam, in "Heaping Bowls of Rice." The book is available on Amazon and at Watermark Publishing.
